Description

The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the most iconic watches in the world, having been part of all six lunar landings, symbolising OMEGA’s pioneering and adventurous spirit.

This 42 mm stainless steel Moonwatch features a polished and brushed bracelet, sapphire crystal on the front and case back, and is inspired by the 4th-generation Speedmaster worn on the Moon. It has an asymmetric case, stepped white lacquered dial with applied logo and indices, Moonwatch hands, and the famous dot over 90 on the anodised black aluminium bezel.

At the heart of the watch is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 3861 calibre, powering the small seconds subdial, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter, and central chronograph function.

 THE SPEEDMASTER MOONWATCH PROFESSIONAL

NASA astronauts wore and
relied on the Moonwatch during every lunar landing in history, including the
Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Today’s modern version is crafted in the same style
as the 4th-generation model that famously travelled beyond Earth.

When NASA first searched
for a watch for its crewed missions, only the Speedmaster survived the rigorous
testing. As a result, it was declared "flight-qualified" and went
into space.
